Greenovia is an infrequent flowering plant. This means it will flower once, eventually, and then die after it sets seed.
Sow Aeonium Greenovia seeds on the surface of a well-draining cactus or succulent mix, pressing them lightly into the soil without covering, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil slightly moist (not wet) and place the tray in bright, indirect light at 65–75°F (18–24°C). Germination usually takes 1–3 weeks. Once seedlings develop several true leaves, transplant carefully into small pots. Grow in bright light with some gentle sun, water sparingly after establishment, and allow soil to dry between waterings. Greenovia prefers cool, mild conditions and goes semi-dormant in hot summer weather. Keep the soil slightly moist (not wet) and place the tray in bright, indirect light at 65–75°F (18–24°C).
