Bring the Beauty of Spring Indoors with an Easter Cactus
The Easter Cactus Plant, also known as Spring Cactus or Rhipsalidopsis Hatiora, is a delightful addition to any plant collection. This plant is shipped in a 3.5″ nursery growing pot, but ships without the pot, prepared to thrive in its new home. These plants may exhibit slight browning on the edges due to travel stress, but they will recover quickly with proper care. By purchasing you are agreeing that you have read and understand the risks of shipping live plants.
Our nursery is bee and butterfly-friendly, employing minimal spraying and natural pest control methods. While occasional minor leaf damage may occur, rest assured that no plants leave our care with active infestations. We take great care in providing you with a quality plant. Please note that the leaves of the plant are likely to be damaged in transit – this is normal and is only cosmetic – new leaves will grow fast with proper care.
We ship via Priority mail and secure the plants carefully. During peak seasons, processing may take 7-10 days; off-season is 1-5 business days. Plants may arrive stressed due to travel. Research proper care for your growing environment. Always isolate new plants and consider treating with fungicide and bug control as a precaution. All plants ship without the pots. So you will need to pot them up when they arrive. We remove some soil on root balls on many of the plants also for shipping purposes.
Always use a good light well-drained planting media to pot up your plants. It’s better to have too much drainage material and require more frequent watering than too dense a media and end up with root rot. Using a fungicide regularly and feeding your plants with light dose of liquid (water soluble) fertilizer is a huge aid in successful plantings. Please be aware that shipping in extreme temperatures can be risky, and the purchase of a heat pack is the buyer’s responsibility in cold weather. We are not responsible for damage caused by cold or heat damage.
