Our Hosta Wisconsin Red plants are grown in 5.25 x 5.25 x 5.25 inch pots, developing large root systems. These are not small liners but established plants ready to thrive in your garden. We guarantee a true-to-type, healthy plant that you’ll love for years. During early spring, plants may still be breaking dormancy, appearing smaller than they will be when fully leafed out. In Fall or Winter, plants may be dormant, losing their leaves.
We ship from April until November. During the off-season, winter, the plants are covered and inaccessible. Orders placed during this time will ship in the order they are received when we resume. We do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska due to cost and import restrictions. Plants will be removed from their pots, loose soil removed, and the rootball placed in a bag. We are an inspected nursery from the VA Dept of AG. Photos and cultural info courtesy of Walters Gardens, INC.
